Daily Pay and Shift Jobs in Uzbekistan: Pay, Schedules, Safety (2026)

Also available in:
Updated: 9 October 2026. All numbers come from open vacancies on Cloz.
A daily pay job pays you at the end of each working day, not once a month. On 9 October 2026, Cloz listed 597 daily pay vacancies and 1,581 shift jobs in Uzbekistan. In half of the ads that state a daily amount, the pay is between 120,000 and 200,000 so'm per day.
This guide explains which jobs pay daily, what shift schedules mean, and what to agree on before you start so you do not end up working for free.

Daily pay, shift work or part-time: what is the difference

People often mix these terms up. One is about when you get paid, the other is about how your working hours are set.
Type
What it means
On Cloz (9 Oct 2026)
You are paid every day, at the end of the shift
597
Work in turns: day, evening or night shifts, schedules such as 2/2
1,581
A few hours a day, less than a full working day
158
A job can be more than one type. Of the 597 daily pay vacancies, 67 are also shift jobs. For short-term work, also look at the Temporary work category. If you are a student, read Part-time jobs for students in Tashkent.

Which jobs pay daily, and how much

Most daily pay vacancies are in restaurants and cafes, shops, cleaning and delivery. The table is based on 492 ads that state a daily amount in so'm.

Read courier ads carefully. Many courier ads say "up to 240,000 so'm per day" for couriers on foot, up to 400,000 by bicycle, up to 550,000 by motorcycle and up to 600,000 by car. "Up to" is the maximum, not a promise. Other ads give a range, for example 250,000–550,000 so'm a day. Either way, what you really earn depends on the number of orders.
Some ads pay per shift instead: 8 ads state the pay per shift, with starting amounts from 120,000 to 275,000 so'm.

Daily pay jobs in Tashkent, Samarkand and Andijan

This kind of work is not only in the capital. On 9 October 2026, Cloz listed:
Region
Daily pay
Shift work
Tashkent city
534
Samarkand region
123
Andijan region
One vacancy can be listed in several cities, so the regional numbers add up to more than the total.
In Tashkent, most daily pay ads are for waiters and couriers, followed by kitchen staff.
In Samarkand, examples of daily pay work for men include "Uzum terimchi yigitlar" (grape pickers, from 200,000 so'm a day) and "Магазинга ишчи (разнорабочий)" (a shop worker, 135,000–200,000 so'm a day).
In Andijan, shift ads most often look for fast food cooks, waiters and cleaners. Evening shifts are available too, for example "Foodcourt ofitsianti (kechki smena)" and "Idish yuvuvchi (kechki smena)".

Shift schedules: 2/2, evening and night shifts

Ads describe the schedule in a few characters. If you know what they mean, the first call goes faster.
  • 2/2 — you work two days, then rest two days. Shifts are usually long, often 12 hours. That is about 15 shifts a month.
  • 5/2 — five working days a week and two days off. Shifts are shorter.
  • Evening shift — from the afternoon until late evening. Common in cafes, fast food, shopping centres and bakeries.
  • Night shift — work at night. On Cloz it appears in ads for security guards, call centre operators, pastry cooks and factory workers.
Compare daily pay with a monthly salary. At 150,000 so'm a day on a 2/2 schedule (about 15 shifts), you earn about 2,250,000 so'm a month. On 5/2 (about 22 days) it is 3,300,000 so'm. Use this to compare a daily pay offer with a monthly one.
Before you accept an evening or night shift, think about how you will get home. Ask if the employer provides transport or pays for a taxi.

What to agree on by phone before your first day

Most problems start with questions nobody asked on the first call. Here is a ready script. Change it to fit your situation:
📞
"Hello. I saw your vacancy for [job title] on Cloz. May I ask a few questions?
  1. How much do you pay per day (per shift)? Is it fixed, or does it depend on sales or orders?
  1. What are the working hours? Is there a lunch break or a meal?
  1. When do you pay: the same evening or at the end of the week? In cash or to a card?
  1. Is the first day a trial day? Is it paid?
  1. What should I bring: passport, uniform, medical book?
  1. What is the exact address, and who should I ask for?"

What to bring on day one

  • Your passport — to show, not to leave
  • Comfortable shoes and clothes, especially for kitchen or warehouse work
  • A charged phone and the employer's number
  • A screenshot of the message where you agreed the terms
Confirm the answers in writing by Telegram or SMS. For example: "Agreed: 150,000 so'm a day, 9:00 to 18:00, paid in cash every evening." If there is a dispute later, you have proof.

How not to get cheated: trial days, deposits, your passport

With daily pay, money moves fast, and scammers use this. Watch for these signs:
  • Unpaid "trial days". One trial day can be normal, but ask before you start whether it is paid. A common trick is two or three free "trial" days, followed by "you are not a good fit".
  • A deposit or a fee for a uniform. If someone asks you to pay for the job, training, a uniform or to "hold your place", stop. An honest employer does not charge you to hire you.
  • Leaving your passport. Never leave your original passport with anyone as a "guarantee". Showing it or giving a copy is enough.
  • Pay that is too good. The median daily pay is 150,000 so'm. If a simple job promises several times more and the tasks are unclear, be suspicious.
  • Card details. To receive your pay, the employer only needs your card number. Never share an SMS code or a password.
