About the Position:
Astel LLC is looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Safety Manager to join our team on a remote weekend schedule. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring driver compliance, supporting drivers during roadside inspections, and helping maintain safety standards in accordance with FMCSA regulations.
Key Responsibilities:

Monitor drivers' logbooks and Hours of Service (HOS) compliance

Review and manage ELD records

Support drivers during roadside situations and DOT inspections

Communicate with drivers regarding safety and compliance matters

Monitor violations and assist in preventing compliance-related issues

Ensure adherence to company safety policies and industry regulations
Requirements:
-
At least 1 year of experience in a similar position

Strong understanding of HOS rules and FMCSA regulations

Solid knowledge of logbooks and ELD systems

English proficiency at B2 level or higher

Russian proficiency at B2 level or higher

Strong communication and problem-solving skills

High level of attention to detail and responsibility
