Amazon Dispatch Specialist

Salary: From $1,500 to $2,000+

Required Skills:

• 2+ years of live dispatch experience with real DAT and Amazon Relay boards

• Strong negotiation skills, not just booking posted rates

• Experience coordinating 5+ drivers simultaneously

• Ability to make fast decisions in a high-pressure environment

Responsibilities:

• Receive and resolve all open items from the day shift

• Monitor and manage truck locations, statuses, ETAs, and appointments in the TMS

• Manage evening and overnight Relay blocks

• Protect account performance metrics by working with Relay Support to prevent late arrivals and cancellations

• Handle trailer hooks, yard check-ins, drop-and-hook, and live load operations

• Quickly respond to weather conditions, facility closures, and refused loads by rerouting and rebooking freight

• Onboard company drivers, lease drivers, and owner-operators with proper entity attribution

• Maintain accurate offboarding by removing drivers and equipment from the Relay account when necessary

• Ensure compliance with Amazon Relay Carrier Terms of Service, including suspension triggers, equipment liability, insurance requirements, and account affiliation policies

Requirements:

• Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills

• Ability to work independently during assigned shifts

• Relevant dispatch experience is mandatory
