DESCRIPTION
Forward Trucking LLC is seeking an experienced Safety Specialist to support its trucking safety and compliance operations.
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience in a trucking safety or compliance department
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA and DOT regulations
- Hands-on experience managing Driver Qualification (DQ) files
- Solid understanding of Hours of Service (HOS) regulations
- Experience with driver onboarding and compliance documentation
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and review Driver Qualification (DQ) files
- Monitor driver compliance with FMCSA and DOT regulations
- Track and manage Hours of Service (HOS) compliance
- Assist with driver onboarding and ensure all required documentation is completed accurately
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date safety and compliance records
- Identify compliance issues and assist in resolving them promptly
- Support the safety department with daily compliance-related tasks
