Safety & Compliance Specialist

Compensation: Monthly salary, paid in cash, between the 10th–12th of each month

About the role

LUCID ELD provides safety and compliance services to U.S. trucking carriers. We're looking for an experienced safety and compliance professional who can own our carrier clients' DOT/FMCSA safety programs end-to-end — not someone who just checks boxes. Every day, your decisions directly affect whether our clients' drivers stay compliant, accidents get caught early, and carriers stay on the right side of federal regulations.

Responsibilities

Safety & Compliance

- Serve as primary safety contact for carrier clients, ensuring FMCSA, DOT, and state compliance

- Prepare carriers for audits and monitor HOS/ELD compliance through Samsara

CSA/SMS & DataQs

- Monitor CSA scores, review inspections and crash reports, and file DataQs/CPDP challenges

Driver Files & Testing

- Maintain DQ files, track expirations (CDLs, medical cards, PSPs, MVRs), and manage drug/alcohol testing and Clearinghouse queries

Permits & Registration

- Handle IRP, IFTA, UCR, MCS-150, weight/mileage tax filings, and state permits

Accidents, Claims & Legal

- Manage accident documentation and handle cargo, physical damage, and liability claims from first notice through resolution

- Coordinate with insurers and TPAs, and support citation matters

Experience

- Hands-on with Samsara, FMCSA Portal, DataQs, Clearinghouse, and IRP/IFTA systems

Requirements

- Gender: Male

- Minimum 1.5+ years in US trucking safety / compliance with CDL drivers

- Strong working knowledge of FMCSA / DOT regulations

- Ability to manage multiple drivers simultaneously

- Strong problem-solving and decision-making judgment

- High level of responsibility and attention to detail

Language

- Fluent English (required)

- Fluent Russian (required)

- Must be comfortable communicating with drivers in both languages
