Safety & Compliance Specialist

Globe Transportation is hiring a Safety & Compliance Specialist focused on camera monitoring, pre-trip inspection verification, and fleet equipment records.

Primary Responsibilities:
·         Camera & Telematics Monitoring: Review dashcam footage and ELD safety triggers for critical violations (speeding, harsh braking, cell phone use, and close following distance).
·         Real PTI Verification: Audit mandatory driver-uploaded pre-trip inspection (PTI) photos and videos to verify real physical equipment checks before loads are dispatched.
·         Truck & Trailer Maintenance Files: Maintain up-to-date maintenance files for all power units and trailers (annual DOT inspections, PM service records, DVIR defect corrections, and repair invoices under 49 CFR Part 396).
·         Driver Coaching: Address safety triggers immediately with drivers to prevent violations, roadside OOS orders, and accidents.

Requirements:
·         1+ years of experience in US trucking safety.
·         Familiarity with dashcam/ELD portals (Samsara, Motive) and DOT maintenance file standards.
·         Professional English (written and verbal) for clear driver communication and record-keeping.
·         Strong attention to detail and accountability.
