Dispatcher

About the Role:

ARZ TRANSPORT LLC is looking for an experienced Dispatcher to manage overnight operations, monitor truck movements, coordinate with drivers and brokers, and ensure uninterrupted freight execution while maintaining high service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage live dispatch operations using DAT, Amazon Relay, and other load boards.

• Negotiate freight rates, not just book posted loads.

• Take ownership of all unresolved day-shift tasks until completion.

• Monitor truck locations, ETAs, appointments, and update the TMS in real time.

• Manage evening and overnight freight operations.

• Prevent late arrivals and cancellations by coordinating with Amazon Relay support.

• Handle trailer hooks, yard check-ins, drop-and-hook, and live load operations.

• Respond quickly to weather disruptions, facility closures, refused loads, and route changes.

Requirements:

• 1.5+ years of live dispatch experience with hands-on DAT and Amazon Relay board management.

• Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Important: Candidates without relevant dispatching experience will not be considered.
