Job Details
We’re looking for a Python developer with strong teaching skills to lead a practical, project-based program for students aged 10–15. Fluent Russian is mandatory. You must be able to deliver lessons, explain technical concepts clearly, and communicate confidently with students in Russian.
Tasks
- Python Coder - OOP: Introduce Python fundamentals through creative projects, including Turtle graphics, quizzes, calculators, a food-ordering program, and a Rock–Paper–Scissors game.
- Python Game Dev: Guide students through designing and building games such as Snake, Astro Man, a multiplayer space shooter, and a runner game.
- Python for AI: Teach introductory AI and computer vision through projects such as face detection, image cartoonization, highway tracking, a virtual painter, and interactive face filters.
- Prepare and deliver engaging, practical lessons.
- Help students build their own projects and develop problem-solving skills.
- Review students’ code, support debugging, and provide constructive feedback.
- Create a supportive learning environment and track student progress.
Requirements
- Strong practical Python skills and confidence using Visual Studio Code.
- Ability to teach all three modules.
- Experience with Python game development and relevant tools such as Pygame.
- Experience with computer vision tools such as OpenCV and MediaPipe, or equivalent libraries.
- Ability to make complex topics simple, engaging, and age-appropriate.
- Patience, reliability, and enthusiasm for mentoring young learners.
- Previous teaching or mentoring experience is a strong advantage.
- Fluent Russian is mandatory.
Compensation Details
- Hourly-based salary: 15$ per hour
