About the Position

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Fleet Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of fleet maintenance operations, strong industry connections, and the ability to efficiently manage truck and trailer repairs while minimizing downtime.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage truck and trailer maintenance and repair operations.

• Utilize an established network of reliable repair shops and service providers to secure competitive pricing and quality service.

• Quickly assess breakdown situations and arrange appropriate repair solutions.

• Coordinate emergency roadside assistance and ensure timely issue resolution.

• Monitor repair progress and maintain effective communication with vendors and drivers.

• Work closely with Ryder, Penske, and other fleet service providers to ensure smooth operations.

• Negotiate repair costs and service agreements when necessary.

• Maintain accurate maintenance records and support fleet performance optimization.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Responsible, disciplined, and dependable.

• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.

• Experience working with fleet maintenance, truck repairs, or transportation operations is preferred.

• Strong knowledge of Ryder, Penske, and industry service networks is highly desirable.
