Responsibilities
- Sourcing, negotiating, and booking high-paying loads via DAT, Truckstop, and direct broker relationships
- Managing all requirements for SD and reefer units
- Tracking loads 24/7, providing timely updates to brokers, and coordinating delivery appointments/lumpers
- Route planning, monitoring driver Hours of Service (HOS), and minimizing empty deadhead miles
Requirements
- Experience: 2+ year
- Deep knowledge of US freight lanes, seasonal SD and reefer markets (produce/meat runs), and reefer detention/layover management
- Ability to handle high-pressure operational situations and problem-solve on the fly
- Dry Van experience is a plus
