Data Engineer (Snowflake/Azure)

We are looking for a Data Engineer with strong experience in Snowflake, Azure, ETL/ELT, and data replication to build and maintain scalable data pipelines and data products for an international project.

Requirements

• Strong experience with Snowflake — virtual warehouses, SQL, views, Snowpipe, data sharing
• Expert-level experience with HVR for data replication
• Hands-on experience with Matillion ELT — orchestration, transformation jobs, variables, connectors
• Strong SQL skills
• Experience with Microsoft Azure
• Experience building and maintaining data pipelines
• Understanding of Medallion Architecture — Raw, Curated, Published
• Experience working with SAP or other enterprise source systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with business analysts and customers

Nice to Have

• Experience with Databricks
• Experience with governed data products and data platforms
• Experience with near-real-time data replication
• Knowledge of modern cloud data architectures

Tasks

• Integrating data from SAP and other enterprise source systems
• Building near-real-time data replication pipelines using HVR
• Developing and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines in Matillion
• Building data solutions on Snowflake and Azure
• Designing Raw, Curated, and Published data layers
• Creating Snowflake views and data products for downstream consumption
• Validating data quality and business requirements
• Troubleshooting and improving existing data pipelines
• Collaborating with business analysts and customers
