Reefer Dispatcher

Responsibilities:

• Source, negotiate, and book high-paying reefer loads through DAT, Truckstop, and direct broker relationships.

• Manage temperature requirements, including continuous and cycle-sentry settings, pre-cooling checks, pulp temperatures, and seal protocols.

• Track loads 24/7, provide timely updates to brokers, and coordinate delivery appointments and lumpers.

• Plan routes, monitor driver Hours of Service (HOS), and minimize empty deadhead miles.

Requirements:

• Experience: 2+ years as a Reefer Dispatcher.

• Strong knowledge of US freight lanes and seasonal reefer markets, including produce and meat runs.

• Experience with reefer detention and layover management.

• Ability to handle high-pressure operational situations and solve problems quickly.

• Dry Van experience is a plus.
