Fuel Optimization Manager

About the Position

Citifuel LLC is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Fuel Optimization Manager to oversee fuel efficiency performance across our fleet operations. This role is responsible for monitoring fuel consumption, analyzing operational data, ensuring compliance with company fuel policies, and identifying opportunities to reduce fuel costs while improving overall fleet efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and evaluate truck MPG (Miles Per Gallon) performance to ensure compliance with company fuel efficiency standards.

• Track, analyze, and manage driver idling time to minimize unnecessary fuel consumption.

• Ensure drivers refuel exclusively at company-approved fuel stations recommended by the Fuel Team.

• Review fuel purchase transactions and identify irregularities, excessive fuel usage, or policy violations.

• Provide drivers with fuel-saving recommendations and operational guidance to improve efficiency and driving behavior.

• Communicate regularly with drivers regarding fuel performance, idling concerns, and compliance requirements.

• Collaborate closely with Dispatch and Fleet Management teams to support fuel optimization initiatives.

• Prepare and maintain accurate fuel performance reports for management review.

• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for reducing overall fuel costs.

• Monitor fuel-related data through company tracking systems and ensure the accuracy of fuel performance records.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in fleet operations, fuel management, logistics, transportation, or data analytics.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, IFS functions, and data analysis techniques.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

• English proficiency at C1 level (required).

• Russian proficiency at C1 level (required).
