Andersen Lab is hiring a Kotlin Developer in Almaty for a project developing a mobile banking app and modular platform, ensuring scalable and efficient digital financial services. The project is focused on developing a mobile banking application for retail customers and transitioning to a platform of standardized, modular banking solutions. It involves packaging core products such as cards, loans, accounts, and investments into scalable modules to enable faster integration and product expansion.

Requirements

• Experience with Kotlin for 3+ years
• Strong understanding of Java Core
• Deep understanding of Spring Framework
• Advanced experience with PostgreSQL
• Experience with database migration tools such as Liquibase or Flyway
• Hands-on experience with Kafka in production environments (producers, consumers, partitions, offsets)
• Strong understanding of REST API design
• Strong understanding of event-driven architecture and distributed systems patterns
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and optimized container image creation
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines
• Advanced Git knowledge
• Strong knowledge of microservices architecture, architectural patterns and anti-patterns, SOLID principles, GoF patterns, DDD basics, and system design principles (high availability, fault tolerance, scalability)
• Experience with unit and integration testing, including JUnit / Kotest, MockK, and Testcontainers
• Level of English – from Intermediate and above
