Tasks

• Source, vet, and book high-yielding open-deck freight, including machinery, industrial components, and oversized/overweight loads
• Actively negotiate with brokers to secure spot and contract freight that consistently meets or exceeds company RPM benchmarks
• Review load specifications (dimensions, weight, loading requirements) to ensure freight perfectly fits the lower deck, accommodates height restrictions, and utilizes ramps or docks appropriately
• Aggressively negotiate and log back-end revenue, ensuring the company is fully compensated for Tarping, Chaining/Strapping, Pipe Racks, Overhangs, Detention, and Layover fees

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 2+ years. Must have proven lanes and brokers to load trucks starting Day 1.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills to manage a fast-paced environment.
• Can keep KPI with current market and take a great advantage of current SD market
• Excellent knowledge of Dimensions and Requirements of the freight
• Can bring to company innovative solutions
